What's going on?
Digit is experiencing intermittent connection issues for some of our users who bank with TD Bank. This outage isn't specific to Digit and appears to be causing downtime for many 3rd party financial applications. TD Bank recently began work to upgrade their online banking system and we expect connections to Digit may be limited until this upgrade is complete.
How does this affect me?
If you're an affected user Digit will stop reporting your daily checking balance. In addition, Digit will stop saving for you until it can reestablish a connection with TD Bank.
In the meantime, this will not affect your ability to access your Digit account or your Digit funds should you need access to them.
Additionally, your Digit subscription will not be assessed for the time that your account is inactive.
Do I need to do anything?
At the moment, we don't anticipate that there will be any action you need to take and we'll do our best to correct the connection for you. We'll continue to add updates to this article as we get them, and will notify you once your account is back online if you are an affected user.
What's the ETA for a fix?
We don't yet have a specific time-frame for a fix, but we're working hard with our partners to ensure we get all affected users back online as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience and understanding here, we'll do our best to keep you posted when we have more updates!
